| 50 Faces of JESS |
For this week's 50 Faces of JESS, we returned to where it all started - with Rita Biro, JESS's first Headteacher.
Rita helped shape not just a school, but a community built on care, purpose and belief in every child. It is a legacy that continues to flourish today.
Alumni of the early years remember her well. David Bell, at JESS Jumeirah from 1983 to 1989, recalls "the steady presence of the Headmistress Rita Biro (nee Lane)" - "always smiling, supportive, and a true pillar of the school".
Were you taught by Mrs Lane? Share your memory.
