In 1975, JESS opened in a small apartment near the Deira Clock Tower with just 17 students and two teachers. Fifty years later, the JESS at 50 mini docuseries looked back at the humble beginnings of a school built on vision, generosity and community.

Over nine days in June the series counted down to the end of the anniversary year: Humble Beginnings, Our Community, Our Values, Beyond the Classroom, Lifelong Impact, A Sense of Belonging, Shaped with Purpose, The Next 50 and, to close, A Legacy Shared.

"A year of celebration. A community that made it matter. As our golden chapter closes, the story continues, carried forward by every student who follows. Thank you for being part of an extraordinary 50th year."
